✨Hi, I'm Olivia,

Your local millennial voice teacher. 🎶

I'm here to help you navigate your voice and embrace what makes you shine.

I don’t believe you need natural talent to be a singer. If I can do it, you can too.

I wasn’t a natural singer, but with great teachers, a little determination, and an endless love for music, I finally felt proud of my sound.

I’m committed to helping you sing confidently too.

I don't believe there's one "right" way to sing.

Every voice is as unique as a fingerprint.

In your first lesson with me, I do a full analysis of your voice so that I can best serve you. I strongly believe in finding appropriate exercises for each individual’s instrument and goals. I choose practice songs with intention.

My goal is to teach you to teach yourself.

You know you best!

I trust my students. I hope that through our lessons, you can learn to trust your own technique and feel secure in managing your own voice.

That means you'll learn:

🎤 How your voice works
Embodying your technique and owning your vocal vocabulary.

🧠 How to listen to yourself and others
I check-in a lot. What feels good? What sounds good? I help you train your ears so you can transfer the styles you love into your own voice.

🎶 How to practice effectively
I won’t shame you if your only “practice” is our lessons, but I’ll also guide you through how to practice when you are on your own.

💪 Finding your strengths and building confidence
Confidence frees your voice. When you own your sound, you own your artistry.

Yes, I am a very positive person, I am basically a Care Bear🧸…

But I’m all about the light bulb moments. I’m determined to help you hear and feel your growth.

Who do I teach?

The beginners, the singer-songwriters, actors, and those who just love music.

If you’ve always wanted to sing, I got you!

Maybe you used to sing and lost confidence. Maybe you sing constantly in your car but have no idea what you're doing.

Maybe you want to audition for musicals or are an actor who wants to wants stronger vocals.

Wherever you are in your journey, you're welcome here.

Okay, but what qualifies you to teach this stuff?

I've been teaching voice for over a decade, working with singers at different experience levels and across different styles, both online and in person.

I earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Michigan, and I'm also a performer myself; including work in acting and film.

I've spent years studying opera, jazz, songwriting, and acting.

I am honored to be a teacher. I love it.

But yes, I’m a performer, too.

I've spent years on the other side of the lesson (and the 🎥 lense!) Performing, auditioning, acting, creating, and figuring out what it's like to be “in the arena.”

That experience really shapes the way I teach.

Our favorite artists make us feel alive. I’m inspired by that. I hone my craft too.

I’ll link my IMDb below and you can find my acting resume here.

A little about my roots

I'm originally from Traverse City, Michigan.

(The cherry capital of the world, baby! 🍒)

These days I'm based in Southern Louisiana. They say New Orleans puts a spell on you and I can confirm that it does. ❤️ For me, moving to New Orleans was like seeing in color for the first time.

I like taco salads, theme parks, books, and practicing different accents until my family tells me to stop. :)

I like to make films with my beloved Jeff. He’s my partner in crime. I also have a dog named Toni Pepperoni. If you are my student, you may have heard him sing! I love my son and if you introduce me to your pets I will love them too.

  • Such a talented performer and has the ability to help you find your voice. I've booked a gig because of her help. Thank you Olivia.
